The Volta GT Nardo is an all-round fat bike that will get you quick to your destination without sweating. Thanks to the large 20-inch tires you can easily drive over sidewalks, tram tracks and unpaved roads. This makes the fat bike not only suitable for the city but also far beyond. The Volta GT Nardo is street legal and this means that you do not need a license plate registration or driver's license. In addition, there is also no helmet requirement for e-bikes, so you can let the wind go through your hair!
Powerful hub motor
The Volta GT Nardo is powered by a hub motor with 250 watts of power. This engine is tightly concealed in the rear wheel, so you hardly see it. An electric motor does not need to make any revolutions and therefore has full power immediately from a standstill. This ensures that you accelerate quickly at the traffic light and reach the top speed of 25 km/h in no time. The Volta GT Nardo is limited to this speed by default via the software. It is possible to remove this limit, making the top speed 45 km/h. If this happens, the fat bike is not allowed everywhere on public roads. Tuning the fat bike is therefore at your own risk. Design of the Volta GT Nardo
The design of the Volta GT Nardo, with its large tires, high handlebar and industrial frame, is reminiscent of a moped from the past. The long seat and footrests make it possible to take a passenger on the back. The retro LED headlight provides a lot of visibility in the dark and ensures that you are also clearly visible. You can read all kinds of parameters via the LCD display, such as the driving speed, mileage, driving mode and battery life.
Large range
The Volta GT Nardo is under the seat equipped with a large 48V battery with 17.5Ah capacity. When it is fully loaded you can drive up to 80 km. The range depends on external factors such as rider weight, headwind and riding speed. Just like with a car, the faster you drive, the higher the consumption. A big advantage is that the battery is removable, so you can easily take it inside to charge. This way your Volta GT Nardo doesn't always have to be near a socket and you are flexible in how you want to charge it. An empty battery is fully charged within 5,5 hours.
Combination of comfort and functionality
The Volta GT Nardo has 20 x 4 inch tires which ensure stable road handling. You hardly feel anything when you drive over something and the fat bike is also suitable for unpaved roads. For even more comfort, there is front suspension on the fat bike. In combination with the large tires, this dampens all vibrations, making riding this bike comfortable. To make driving even more enjoyable, there are Shimano 7-speed gears on the fat bike. This allows you to always put the Volta Gt Nardo in the correct pedaling resistance. Are you at the traffic light? Then you prefer a light pedaling resistance. Do you drive long distances at high speed? Then a heavier pedaling resistance is finer. With a powerful engine, it is important that there are also strong brakes on the fat bike. That is why the Volta GT Nardo has mechanical disc brakes that will stop you within seconds. Did a cat unexpectedly jump past your bike? With these brakes you always come to a safe stop.
